Oh man, I was stuck on Breath because of his dogged pursuit of those quests to which he devoted himself, but YES, Heart.
I don’t think Heir is quite right, since current theories suggest an Heir is susceptible to being invited to change in their aspect, and Kenshin’s ‘self’ is very set and not susceptible to being changed by outside influence at all. But I suppose he was susceptible to being led when he was younger…
And assuming that ‘battousai’ was ultimately an unhealthy way to be and to affect reality, you could argue that he’s inverted when he acts as battousai? Inverted feels more accurate than subsumed. He’s denying his nature instead of chasing it to excess.
Which is great! Because that makes his behaviors associated with ‘battousai’ the traits of a Mage of Mind. And…
or utterly defeated by Kenshin’s understanding of their ambition & technique.
That rather fits!
On another note, I was thinking Blood was a rather good aspect for Kaoru, though I’m stuck for class. She’s all about bonds and responsibility, and becoming stronger and making the world better through them. Maybe a powerful passive class? Perhaps Sylph. She does have a tendency to collect broken people and fix them. Her personality, though, reminds me more of canon Rogues than it does of Sylphs.

- zenosanalytic said: It’s been so long since I thought about Rurouni Kenshin :) It could go either way on class. You could look at it as her “sharing” her bonds to help people, or using bonds to heal and “civilize” the scarred. Blood def given her Dojo’s motto.
